Summary: The Senior Project Manager will oversee a key rail safety project in Milton Keynes, focusing on the development and integration of a Remote Securing App. This role involves managing technical documentation, stakeholder interactions, and trial processes, ensuring compliance with safety and technical requirements. The position is set to start on April 1, 2025, and is expected to last between 12 to 18 months. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and integration of a Remote Securing App, collaborating with supply chain partners.
• Ensure delivery and review of all technical documentation, including Safety Justification Reports and Safety Assessment Reports.
• Manage product acceptance and ensure compliance with safety and technical requirements.
• Work closely with client’s safety and engineering teams, managing interfaces with key stakeholders.
• Lead presentations of safety and trial documentation to the Electrical System Review Panel (ESRP).
• Manage the trial process, including planning, isolation, and training for stakeholders.
• Oversee remote securing trials, ensuring effective execution and proper briefing for trial teams.
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables, including testing and engineering compliance certifications.
• Maintain comprehensive tracking of deliverables and service readiness.

Key Skills:

• Significant experience in Project Management within rail infrastructure.
• Proven experience with Product Acceptance and PACE stages (including GRIP and similar frameworks).
• Strong understanding of safety management and preparation of safety documentation.
• Experience overseeing remote trials and managing trial planning.
• Knowledge of IT and systems integration in the rail sector.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and ensure effective communication.
