Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the design and hands-on configuration of Workday Absence
  • Configuring absence plans, accruals, balances, eligibility and carry-forward rules
  • Supporting leave of absence frameworks and policy-led requirements
  • Translating business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
  • Supporting delivery across design, build, testing, deployment and defect resolution
  • Troubleshooting Absence issues in a live production environment
  • Ensuring Absence configuration aligns with Core HCM processes
  • Supporting related security analysis across domain, BP, role-based, user-based and intersection security

  • Proven experience as a senior Workday functional consultant or analyst

Workday Absence Specialist | Nando’s

Nando’s is looking for a Senior Workday Analyst Contractor with strong hands-on Workday Absence expertise to support the ongoing design, configuration and optimisation of its Workday platform. This is an Absence-first role. The core requirement is deep experience configuring and delivering Workday Absence in a live environment. Alongside this, you’ll need solid Core HCM knowledge and a practical understanding of Workday Security. Working as part of a broader Workday landscape, you’ll help deliver Absence-related change, support production stability, and ensure solutions are scalable, effective and aligned to business needs.
