Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and supporting VMware-based virtualisation environments
- Working with NSX to configure lab networking
- Supporting and enhancing VDI solutions
- Managing and maintaining Windows infrastructure (Active Directory, GPO, permissions, domain services)
- Extensive experience deploying virtual machines and enabling communications
- Collaborating with various teams to deploy their required virtual infrastructure
- Acting as a senior technical resource, providing guidance and support to engineering teams
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and performance issues
- Contributing to continuous improvement and best practices within a secure environment
Key Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, vCenter)
- Strong experience with VMware NSX (essential)
- Proven experience delivering and supporting VDI environments
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts
- Strong experience managing Windows estates: Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), Permissions & access control, Domain services
- Ability to operate as a senior engineer, engaging with both technical teams and stakeholders

This role is focused on delivering and supporting a complex virtualised infrastructure, with particular emphasis on VMware, NSX, and VDI technologies.
The Role
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise virtualisation platforms, working closely with both infrastructure and network teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and supporting VMware-based virtualisation environments
- Working with NSX to configure lab networking.
- Supporting and enhancing VDI solutions
