Key Responsibilities:

- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external partners and senior leadership
Key Skills:
- MRICS qualification and Registered Valuer status
- Strong experience producing valuations across multiple asset classes
- Excellent analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solution focused approach and the confidence to influence decision makers
- Previous public sector experience is desirable but not essential

Your new role
As Senior Valuation Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely valuations to support strategic decision making across the council. You will work across a broad range of asset types-including operational buildings, commercial investments, land, and development opportunities-providing professional advice that directly contributes to the borough's long term financial sustainability.
You will be responsible for:
- Undertaking RICS compliant valuations for statutory, financial reporting and strategic purposes
- Managing a varied caseload of operational and investment assets
- Providing professional advice on acquisitions, disposals, and asset reviews
- Supporting the development and implementation of asset management strategies
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external partners and senior leadership
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced valuation professional with:
- MRICS qualification and Registered Valuer status.
- Strong experience producing valuations across multiple asset classes
- Excellent analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solution focused approach and the confidence to influence decision makers
- Previous public sector experience is desirable but not essential.
