Summary: The Senior UX & Service Designer role is a 13-month contract position focused on user-centered design and backend development for a public sector client. The designer will be responsible for creating intuitive digital services that meet user needs while ensuring technical robustness and scalability. Collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams is essential to align services with strategic goals and deliver impactful digital experiences. The position requires a balance of design thinking and hands-on development expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead UX, UI, and service design to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Conduct user research to translate insights into design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs adhering to accessibility standards.
- Define and own end-to-end service design for frontend and backend integration.
- Develop and maintain design systems for consistency across platforms.
- Work with stakeholders and developers to align services with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain backend systems and APIs for user interactions.
- Implement automated workflows and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
- Use data analytics to evaluate and refine services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement services.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in UX, UI, and service design.
- Experience with backend development (Node.js, Python, etc.).
- Strong understanding of user research methodologies.
