Senior UX Researcher

Summary: The role of Senior User Researcher involves leading user research initiatives to enhance digital services for a public sector client. The position requires a strategic approach to understanding user needs through various research methodologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with design teams to translate insights into actionable features. This is a hybrid role based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow for an initial 4-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct user research using various strategies to test new ideas and concepts.
• Review and synthesize primary and secondary research material.
• Generate actionable insights to improve products/services for users.
• Support the setup of tools for efficient insight documentation.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to develop focused research strategies.

• Planning and conducting interviews and workshops with users and stakeholders.
