Senior UX Designer

Summary: The role of Senior UX Designer involves joining a public sector client for an initial 4-month contract, focusing on transforming digital services. The designer will collaborate within an agile product team, producing user-centered designs and conducting user research. Responsibilities include ensuring design quality, providing leadership in UX best practices, and managing multiple projects. The position is hybrid, based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce designs based on insights from the UX research team.
• Work within an agile product team to integrate design work into the workflow.
• Ensure a consistent user experience by adhering to quality standards and using an established design system.
• Provide feedback and advice to design colleagues.
• Plan, design, and conduct user research, including usability testing.
