Summary: The Senior UI Engineer role involves creating high-performance user interfaces for a leading IT network and communications technology provider. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Own the Front-End: Implement sleek, high-performance interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Component-Driven Development: Create modular, reusable UI components with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
- Design Collaboration: Partner closely with UX designers to bring wireframes and mockups to life with pixel-perfect accuracy.
- Usability & Accessibility First: Conduct usability tests, gather user feedback, and ensure all UI meets accessibility standards.
- Modern Deployment: Containerize front-end apps with Docker and deploy via Kubernetes using Helm in our CI/CD pipeline.
- Documentation: Keep everything clean and well-documented—from components to deployment instructions.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Design, HCI, or related field
- 5+ years of UI/UX engineering experience with a solid portfolio
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
- Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, InVision, or Axure
- Familiarity with usability testing and user-centered design methodologies
- CI/CD experience with containerization (Docker) and deployment via Helm and Kubernetes
- Agile mindset with excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design
