Do you have the drive to change how we operate, improving resident experience by making it easier and quicker to get the right things done? We are embarking on an exciting and ambitious transformation programme at City of York Council and are looking for an experienced and skilled Project Manager to play an important role redefining how we operate. You will have a defined portfolio of transformation projects ranging from a simple implementation to strategic cross cutting projects which impact multiple services in the council. You will be collaborative, build strong relationships with partners in the city, taking stakeholders on the journey with you. You will be a confident and articulate communicator at all levels, be innovative at heart and constantly look for opportunities to improve resident experience by transforming services. As well as being an excellent communicator, you will demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills, be unafraid to challenge constructively and act as a critical friend. Equally comfortable working within a multi-disciplinary team as well as by yourself, you will play a significant role in the creation and delivery of the transformation programme. If you have a strong background of transformation, project management, delivering collaborative, innovative operating models and a track record of finding pioneering solutions to complex problems we would very much like to hear from you!
