Summary: The Senior Test Manager is responsible for overseeing testing projects across various portfolios, ensuring effective test automation frameworks are established and maintained across multiple platforms. This role involves understanding project documentation, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases, as well as investigating issues and providing solutions. The Senior Test Manager will also handle technical communications, collaborate with deployment teams, and research testing tools and methodologies to enhance existing practices. Regular status reporting is expected to keep stakeholders informed of progress and challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the projects across various portfolios.
- Understand the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
- Understand project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
- Set up, maintain, and perform test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and build test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Investigate issues/problems and come up with an appropriate solution.
- Handle technical communications and understand client systems.
- Work with deployment teams, resolve level issues for systems, coordinate on product design, and offer input on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
- Research test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrade existing practices and processes, as feasible and applicable.
- Provide daily and weekly status reports.
