Summary: The Senior Test Engineer (Python) role is a 6-month contract position focused on test automation and API testing, primarily utilizing Python and Selenium. The position requires a strong background in automation and REST API testing, with a significant on-site presence in Central London, complemented by some remote work flexibility. Candidates will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, as well as defining test strategies and tracking software defects. A technical evaluation is part of the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium.
• Design and execute automated tests for REST APIs to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Define, document, and implement test strategies and methodologies for new and existing features.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on test results.

Key Skills:

• Excellent Python skills.
• Automation skills in Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium-Python, Pytest, Pytest-BDD.
• Strong knowledge of REST API (RestAssured, Postman).
• Version control in Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
