Summary: We are seeking Senior Test Engineers with SC clearance or eligibility for a public sector project starting in June 2025. The role involves providing technical leadership in Agile teams, developing test frameworks for UI and APIs, and mentoring junior testers to ensure high-quality delivery. Candidates must have a strong background in automation testing and be comfortable working in a hybrid environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects while ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to UI and API automation testing.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks (Selenium, Java, Maven, Cypress/Playwright).
- Perform API testing (manual with Postman/Insomnia; automated with Java Rest Assured).
- Conduct performance testing using K6 or JMeter.
- Drive CI/CD pipeline integration (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab).
- Support accessibility testing and adherence to WCAG standards.
- Provide mentorship and technical direction to junior Test Engineers.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps, and Architects in Agile teams.
Key Skills:
- SC Cleared or eligible (UK residency for past 5 years is essential).
- Proven experience leading testing efforts across multiple teams.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model (remote with occasional presence in Leeds).
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
