Summary: The Senior Tester role involves joining a high-performing team on a 12-month contract, focusing on quality assurance through functional and automated testing of complex systems. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays while allowing for remote work flexibility. The ideal candidate will possess strong automation skills and experience with various testing frameworks and AWS services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional testing of REST APIs, databases (RDS, NoSQL), and UI frameworks like Cypress or Puppeteer.
- Perform automated testing across both API and UI environments.
- Utilize AWS services including Lambda, EC2, Step Functions, and CodePipeline without coding requirements.
- Apply proficiency in Java for API understanding and working knowledge of JavaScript.
- Collaborate effectively in an agile environment and lead quality discussions.
Key Skills:
- Experience in functional testing of REST APIs and databases.
- Strong automation experience in API and UI testing.
- Familiarity with AWS services.
- Proficiency in Java and working knowledge of JavaScript.
- Detail-oriented, proactive team player with strong communication skills.
