Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead the delivery of automated testing across a portfolio of critical enterprise applications.
This is a hands-on technical role where you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automation frameworks whilst leading a small team of Test Automation Engineers.
You will work closely with developers, architects and product teams to deliver Functional, System, Integration, End-to-End, Security and Performance testing, driving improvements across automation frameworks and testing processes.
Key Skills:
- MUST HOLD CURRENT AND ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE
- Extensive commercial experience delivering Test Automation solutions in enterprise environments.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring Test Automation Engineers.
- Strong hands-on experience with Karate and automation frameworks.
- Experience with Eggplant Functional, SOAP UI and Postman.
- Strong experience developing System, API, UI and Security test automation.
- Experience designing and executing Performance Testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile delivery.
- Experience working with Kafka, IBM MQ or ACE.
- Strong Scripting experience using Python and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with application monitoring tools such as Control-M.
- Knowledge of SonarQube, Fortify, Twistlock and Xray.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working closely with developers and architects to improve application quality.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Oracle databases and writing SQL queries.
- Knowledge of Tableau reporting.
- Broad technical knowledge across technologies including .NET, Java, XML, Web Services, SOA, SOAP, Unix/Linux, SAP, Oracle and SharePoint.
- ISTQB, ISQI or ISEB certification
