Summary: The Senior Test Automation Engineer role involves working on a 6-month initial contract with potential extensions, focusing on both onsite and remote work arrangements. The position requires expertise in automation engineering, particularly in distributed systems, and emphasizes modernizing existing automation frameworks. The role includes responsibilities related to integration and end-to-end testing of microservices, utilizing various technologies including Docker, TypeScript, and Python.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Dockerised Java services, treating each microservice as a Black Box to build meaningful integration and E2E coverage.
- Modernise existing automation, extend Python-based tooling, and influence performance testing and CI/CD strategy (GitLab).
- Work on Frontend automation using TypeScript + Playwright, while Back End services communicate via mechanisms such as SNS queues.
