Senior Test Analyst - SEPA Instant Payments

Summary: The role of Senior Test Analyst focuses on conducting thorough testing of payment systems, specifically SEPA Instant protocols, for an investment bank in London. Candidates must possess relevant experience in SEPA/Instant Payments and integration testing with external systems. This is a contract position classified as inside IR35, requiring on-site presence three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of payment systems, focusing on SEPA Instant protocols.
• Validate messages and ensure they comply with established standards and protocols.
• Perform integration testing with external systems, including TIPS (TARGET Instant Payment Settlement).
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure all testing activities are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SEPA Instant protocols.
• Domain expertise in OPF payment systems.
• Experience with message validation and message protocols.
• Proven experience in integration testing with external systems, particularly TIPS.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Salary (Rate): £650 per day
