Summary: The Senior Test Analyst role focuses on the planning, documentation, delivery, execution, and management of a Test Strategy within the Insurance sector, specifically targeting London Markets. The position requires hands-on experience with automated regression tests and a strong understanding of insurance policy life cycles. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid model, spending 2-3 days a week on-site in London. This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain and monitor execution of automated regression tests.
- Utilize strong insurance domain expertise (London Market).
- Employ automated test tools & test development skills (Playwright, Selenium, Rest assured, etc.).
- Demonstrate knowledge of on-premise, SaaS and Cloud hosted environments and associated CI/CD deployment methods (Bamboo/Jenkins).
- Apply Agile practitioner capabilities and experience working in Agile teams.
- Implement Change Management ADKAR model.
- Collaborate with Business Agility to produce UAT testing approaches and plans.
- Exhibit expertise in Insurance Quote, Bind & Issuance solutions and understanding of insurance policy life cycles.
- Understand underwriting business functions and previous exposure to the Lloyds insurance market.
Key Skills:
- Experience in the Insurance industry, particularly London Markets.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD deployment methods.
- Agile methodology experience.
- Understanding of insurance policy life cycles.
- Familiarity with underwriting business functions.

Company Introduction
We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst with Insurance experience (ideally London Markets), to be responsible for the planning, documentation, delivery, execution, and ongoing management, of an agreed Test Strategy to support.
12-month contract
*The successful candidate for this role must have previous experience in the Insurance industry and be able to work on-site in their London office two to three days a week*
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Hands on experience - in Design, develop, maintain and monitor execution of automated regression tests.
- Strong insurance domain expertise (London Market)
- Exposure to automated test tools & test development skills. (Playwright, Selenium, Rest assured.etc)
- Good knowledge of on-premise, SaaS and Cloud hosted environments and associated CI/CD deployment methods (Bamboo/Jenkins)
- Knowledge of Agile practitioner capabilities and experience working in Agile teams is preferable.
- Knowledge of Change Management ADKAR model.
- Work with Business Agility to produce UAT testing approaches and plans which encompass business related testing, test scenarios and test cases, working with Product Managers, Product Owners, Product Analysts and Testers to ensure traceability to business requirements using traceability matrices and organise/run testing meetings/sessions as needed.
- Expertise in Insurance Quote, Bind & Issuance Insurance solutions and strong understanding of insurance policy life cycles, including quote and policy creation, underwriting, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
- Knowledge of underwriting business functions, supporting business operations and previous exposure to, or experience within, the Lloyds insurance market and insurance underwriting and/or broking systems.
