Summary: The role of Interim Technical Project Manager involves managing a pipeline of technical projects during an organizational transition, focusing on stakeholder management and delivery orchestration rather than hands-on technical work. The position requires strong prioritization skills and the ability to work closely with business leaders and technical teams to ensure effective project delivery. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-pressure environment and be able to quickly adapt to changing priorities. This is a 3-month contract position based in Chippenham with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project pipeline, prioritisation, and intake
- Gather and translate business requirements into deliverables
- Coordinate across multiple workstreams (cloud, data, AI, business systems, infrastructure, M365)
- Act as “air cover” for technical teams—reducing disruption and context switching
- Engage with senior stakeholders, managing changing priorities and expectations
- Identify dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts early
Key Skills:
- Strong technical project management experience in complex/transformational environments
- Proven experience delivering cloud-based projects
- Excellent stakeholder management, including C-suite
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity, prioritise effectively, and drive clarity
- Confident communicator with resilience and gravitas
Salary (Rate): £62.50/hr

You’ll bring structure to a high-volume, shifting environment, working closely with business leaders and technical teams to reduce noise, clarify requirements, and enable effective delivery.
