Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud.
- Splunk Architect- or Consultant-level certification is mandatory.
- Strong experience with Splunk ITSI, monitoring, logging, alerting and enterprise observability.
- Hands-on data onboarding, parsing, field extraction, transformation and ingestion optimisation.
- Strong SPL skills for searches, dashboards, reports, use cases and performance tuning.
- Good Linux platform and infrastructure knowledge.
- Experience maintaining, upgrading, migrating and supporting enterprise-scale Splunk platforms.
- Production support experience covering incident, problem and change management, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to optimise platform performance, search efficiency, reliability, resilience and cost.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, DevOps and application teams to onboard workloads.
- Understanding of security, compliance and audit requirements.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call / 24x7 support rota when required.
