Summary: The Senior Technical Architect role involves delivering secure and scalable technology solutions for a UK Government client. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver secure, scalable technology solutions for a UK Government client.
- Translate complex technical concepts and lead solution design.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and cloud teams.
- Produce high-quality architectural documentation (HLD/LLD, options assessments).
- Manage requirements ownership.
- Design and migrate services to Azure/M365 and AWS.
- Utilize DevSecOps practices with CI/CD and automation.
- Implement security tooling and auditing.
- Ensure compliance with UK government tech policy and standards.
Key Skills:
- Experience in secure government environments.
- Strong technical background across Microsoft/Linux Servers and networks.
- Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud, Gateways, PKI, and email services.
- Experience with VMware (VCD, vSAN, NSX), Cisco, Palo Alto, and SASE.
- Ability to produce high-quality architectural documentation.
- DevSecOps experience with CI/CD and automation.
- Experience designing and migrating services to Azure/M365 and AWS.
- Working knowledge of security tooling and auditing.
- Strong understanding of NCSC, GDS, CIS, Cyber Essentials, NIST, and UK government tech policy.
