Responsibilities
- Supporting secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments
- Assisting with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud platform operations
- Maintaining Windows Server and Linux environments
- Supporting virtualisation platforms and enterprise hosting solutions
- Working with Kubernetes/OpenShift container platforms
- Monitoring system performance, availability and resilience
- Supporting incident management, troubleshooting and service improvements
- Contributing to automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using tools such as Terraform, Ansible or PowerShell
- Supporting secure infrastructure changes, documentation and operational processes
Expereince Required
- Experience within defence, aerospace, MOD, government or other secure environments
- Experience supporting Windows Server and/or Linux platforms
- Understanding of cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls)
- Exposure to VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, OpenShift or container technologies
- Interest in automation, DevOps practices and modern platform engineering
