Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and integration of complex systems in the defence sector.
- Deliver updated verification strategies covering all environment categories and technical disciplines.
- Generate verification strategies through stakeholder engagement, ensuring they are logic linked and captured using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Support model-based practices for requirements, interfaces, trade studies, interdisciplinary integration, and analysis.
- Optimize deployment and reporting to continuously improve the MBSE model.
- Support model development, maturity, and integration with other MBSE tools and models.
- Prepare reporting metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including business leaders and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust engineering solutions that meet client and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical expertise in hardware/software integration for seamless operation across systems.
- Develop and maintain systems architecture for complex projects, ensuring alignment with specifications.
- Contribute to the full systems engineering lifecycle from concept to testing, deployment, and support.
- Support system validation and verification processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Skills:
- Active SC security clearance with eligibility for DV clearance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex systems engineering, focusing on hardware/software integration or systems architecture.
- At least 3 years of exposure to the defence or nuclear industries.
- Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and experience in model-based systems engineering or DOORS.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, providing clear guidance and technical leadership.
- Experience working within security clearance environments or ability to obtain clearance.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software for systems analysis, design, and simulation.
