The Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across a complex infrastructure landscape, ensuring systems remain secure, resilient, scalable and aligned with business objectives.
Working closely with architects, security teams, application owners and service delivery functions, you'll support enterprise platforms while contributing to infrastructure transformation and cloud adoption programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and support enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Administer and optimise Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native technologies.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux-based environments.
- Deploy, configure and support Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions.
- Ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, resilience and availability requirements.
- Monitor system health, performance and capacity across multiple platforms.
- Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and service incidents.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
- Support cloud migration, infrastructure transformation and technology refresh projects.
About You
We're looking for a technically strong Systems Engineer with experience operating within complex enterprise or large-scale infrastructure environments.

Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or Platform Engineer role.
- Strong background supporting enterprise-scale cloud and infrastructure environments.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure and modern container platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
