- Undertaking fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
- Defining and delivering engineering analysis tasks for yourself and members of the wider team.
- Demonstrating that structural designs meet relevant certification and project requirements.
- Supporting the development and mentoring of less experienced engineers.
- Working closely with engineering colleagues, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Developing efficient and effective engineering processes and working practices.
- Preparing and delivering technical reports and presentations for a range of audiences.
Key Skills
- Demonstrable experience working within a Design or Structures Engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structural analysis, including metallic and/or composite structures.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and traditional structural calculations.
- Experience in areas such as structural sizing, fatigue or damage tolerance analysis.
- The ability to supervise, mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Strong communication skills, with experience producing technical reports and presentations.
