Senior SQL Developer (IBM) Financial Services Client
Atrium EMEA are supporting a world leading IT services consultancy in search for an
experienced SQL Developer for one of their contracts in the financial services sector. To
be considered, you must have recent experience working with enterprise level financial
services clients.
Day rate: £450-£480 per day (inside)
Location: Central London, 2 days per week onsite is mandatory (you must live within a
commutable distance to be considered)
Duration: 12-month initial contract
Essential/Basic Skills:
* Extensive SQL experience covering:
* Server side and client-side development
* Performance tuning
* Logical and physical model design
* Design of complex and long stored procedure
* Strong appreciations of SOLID design principles and its effective application in
practice
* Knowledge and experience with C#, Python, PowerShell is desired
* Ability to follow agile development best practices (preferrable Scrum/Kanban)
* Effective application of Automation/DevOps best practices
* Strong sense of ownership, high level of independence and enthusiasm to go
extra mile
* Ability to own initiative to resolve issues/investigate and final solutions.
* Providing support and resolving issues for systems in production
