If you’re someone who thrives on turning complex data into real-world commercial impact; and enjoys getting hands-on as well as thinking strategically, this could be the role for you.

What will your day look like?

You’ll play a key role in shaping our lending strategy; designing, building and embedding advanced credit decisioning that drives both performance and customer outcomes. This isn’t just about analysis. It’s about influence, ownership and making things happen.

Day-to-day you will be;

  • Developing next-generation affordability models, using open banking and internal data to improve accuracy and meet regulatory expectations
  • Leading how we use credit bureau data, continuously improving model performance and predictive power
  • Exploring and embedding AI and machine learning, helping us get ahead of portfolio risk and spot trends early
  • Delivering deep-dive analysis to explain the ‘why’ behind portfolio performance, translating complexity into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders

You’ll also work closely with key external partners and take ownership of how we maximise value from those relationships.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong experience across the credit risk lifecycle, with the ability to convert data into live strategy
  • Advanced analytical capability (SQL, Python or SAS) and a highly numerical background
  • A deep understanding of motor finance and risk dynamics, particularly around lending and portfolio performance
  • A self-starting mindset - you’re comfortable owning work end-to-end and making decisions
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas simply, influencing stakeholders at all levels

What can you expect from us?
