Summary: This role is for a Senior Solutions Architect who will collaborate with senior business stakeholders to design IT solutions tailored to their needs. The position involves conducting options analysis, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring integration within the existing enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience in energy, climate change, sustainability, or biodiversity, and will be responsible for designing scalable and secure solutions. Staying updated with emerging technologies is also a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior business stakeholders to understand their needs and design potential solution options
• Conduct options analysis and solution architecture
• Evaluate and select the appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms to build the solution
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to incorporate innovative solutions into the architecture
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that align with business goals
• Ensure systems and technologies are integrated effectively within the existing enterprise architecture
• Work with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with the target architecture and organisation roadmap

Key Skills:

• Experience as a Solutions Architect in energy, climate change, sustainability and/or biodiversity mandatory
• Experience working with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with the organisation's architecture and roadmap
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior stakeholders to understand business needs
• Hands-on experience with research to explore products/technologies and design solutions
