• Apply Systems Engineering experience for the development of maritime autonomous systems.
• Discern and decompose requirements at system, sub-system, and software specification levels.
• Undertake system design decomposition and architectural modelling.
• Conduct system test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Contribute to the definition of acceptance strategies and verify compliance at various levels of system design.

Key Skills:

• Understanding and experience of Systems Engineering with integrated software systems.
• Knowledge of Systems and Software Engineering standards (e.g., ISO 15288 and ISO 12207).
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and software architectural modelling.
• Requirements definition and management using appropriate toolsets (e.g., IBM DOORS Next).
• Experience with system testing and documentation using dedicated toolsets.
• Some experience with mathematical simulation tools/languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python) is advantageous.
