Role: Senior Software Engineer (Java & Node)
Day Rate: £470 p.d (Inside IR35)
Client: Dept of UK Government
Location: Remote with 1 day per month in office (UK-wide, location may change monthly)
Clearance: Must be eligible for SC
Duration: Initial 3 months with likely extension
Description
Futureheads is partnered with a leading tech consultancy that specialises in delivering complex and high-impact projects within central government.
They re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with prior gov experience; somebody who can hit the ground running and join a significant ongoing programme of work with one of their biggest gov clients.
Essential Requirements
- Senior or lead-level Software Engineer
- Extensive experience with Java and Node.
- Able to set technical standards and upskill team members where needed
- 7+ years of commercial engineering experience
- TDD
- Consultancy mindset with excellent communication skills & stakeholder management experience
- Prior gov/public sector project experience
- Able to travel to client-side once per month (location may alternate between London, Birmingham, Leeds and Sheffield)
