Role Description
The Senior Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain back-end services and enterprise software components, contributing to architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product management, QA, and DevOps.
The role involves mentoring engineers, improving development workflows, and ensuring adherence to best practices in security, performance, and scalability.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-grade systems.
- Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database integration.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in large codebases.
- Experience with modern development tools and practices (version control, CI/CD, testing frameworks).
- Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in senior or lead engineering roles, including mentoring and technical guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
