Senior Software Engineer C++ Developer Python Energy Trading

Templeton & Partners are looking for Senior-Level, Software Engineers, with experience in C++ working with trading platforms to join one of our global clients within the Trading Energy space.

Start date: Immediately

Duration: 4-6 months initial contract with extensions

Type work & Location: London, hybrid

Pay: Competitive daily rate depending on 7+ years of C++ and trading platform work experience

What is the aim of the work you will be doing? We work on one of our Client's leading software development projects to enhance the Client's trading capabilities. The role will be very active in the Development of Adapters from the Client's trading platform to the Exchanges. This role is ideal for senior-level C++ Software Engineers looking to show their capabilities and work closely with a high-performing team!

Software Skills

• C++ - main skill
• Python
• C#

Essential Experience

• 7 to 10 years in IT with some IT leadership experience
• Experienced working with Trading Platform
• Experienced in breaking down work in Jira/ADO
• Able to demonstrate and report on progress in delivering code
• Performing PR reviews on other Developers' code

• Financial Exchange Connectivity Experience
• Team Player and open learning mindset
