About the Role
Senior C# / Snowflake Engineer London | 9-12 Month Contract 3-4 Days on a strategic greenfield data platform programme and are looking for a Senior C# / Snowflake Engineer to join a highly technical team delivering a business-critical initiative.
You'll play a key role in building a modern Snowflake-based platform that makes portfolio, trade and investment data more accessible across the business and to leading hedge fund clients.
This is not a traditional developer role. We're looking for an engineer who combines strong software engineering expertise with a modern data mindset, cloud-native thinking, and a passion for improving delivery through automation and AI tooling.
Responsibilities
- Developing and enhancing applications using C# and .NET
- Building integrations between business systems and Snowflake
- Designing data services, APIs and scalable data pipelines
- Working with complex financial datasets including portfolio, trade and market data
- Collaborating with technology teams, business stakeholders and investment professionals
- Contributing to the long-term evolution of a strategic data platform
Required Skills
- Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
- Hands-on Snowflake experience
- Strong SQL and data integration expertise
- Financial Services experience
- Experience building scalable data solutions
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
