Summary: The Senior Site Manager will oversee refurbishment and new build projects ranging from £4 million to £10 million for a reputable Blue Chip Building Contractor. This role requires effective communication and leadership skills to manage a small team of Site Managers while ensuring project delivery aligns with health and safety regulations and financial constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background, particularly with projects up to £5 million, and experience in client-facing roles. Previous exposure to government-funded construction projects is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver project outcomes while leading a team of Site Managers.
- Program work schedules and monitor building progress for compliance with regulations.
- Manage site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
- Oversee logistics planning and management of plant and labour resources.
- Conduct progress meetings with site team and subcontractors.
- Ensure strong health and safety management on site.
