Senior Site Engineer - Civils (Wastewater)

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain primary site control and oversee setting out activities.
• Deliver engineering support for concrete structures, deep drainage, earthworks and pipeline installations.
• Supervise and mentor Site Engineers and oversee subcontractor activities on site.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
• Manage quality processes including ITPs, MARs, quality check sheets and as-built records.
• Review technical drawings and identify design clashes, raising RFIs where required.
• Support temporary works activities including excavations, shoring and formwork operations.
• Ensure RAMS are implemented and adhered to across all site activities.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer within major civil engineering projects.
• Previous water or wastewater infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
• Strong setting out capability using robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and managing technical documentation.
• Competent in CAD software and as-built data management.
• HNC, HND or Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• SMSTS or SSSTS preferred.
• Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) or Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) experience advantageous.
• Ability to work Full time on-site in Rugby.
