Role Responsibilities
- SharePoint Online Platform Ownership
- Design, develop and maintain SharePoint Online solutions
- Manage site collections, libraries, content types, metadata, governance controls, security, permissions and access models
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related production issues; maintain SharePoint application registrations, service accounts and integrations
- SharePoint Development
- Develop and enhance solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, JavaScript / TypeScript and React
- Upgrade and maintain SharePoint Framework solutions
- Support code reviews, deployments and vulnerability remediation activities
- Power Platform & Enterprise Integrations
- Develop and support Power Automate workflows, Logic Apps, Power Platform integrations and document management automation
- Support integrations between SharePoint, Salesforce and enterprise platforms
- Assist with integration design and troubleshooting; work with infrastructure and security teams to implement secure integration patterns
- Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests; support release activities, change implementation, problem management and root cause analysis activities
- Mentor team members and contribute to platform modernisation and simplification initiatives
- General
- Implement secure coding practices aligned with OWASP, Veracode and CodeQL; monitor and optimise system performance using Grafana and other observability tools
- Collaborate using GitHub for version control, CI/CD and code reviews; participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within Scrum or Kanban frameworks
Experience Required
- Strong experience with SharePoint Online administration and development
- Hands-on experience with SPFx, TypeScript, JavaScript and React development
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API, REST API development and integration, and PowerShell automation
- Experience with Power Automate and Power Platform governance and administration
- Experience integrating SharePoint with Salesforce, Azure services, enterprise content management platforms and/or third-party SaaS applications
- Understanding of Salesforce integration and data flows
- Experience with GitHub for source control and collaboration
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Windsurf or similar AI coding tools is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to learning and innovation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across technical and business teams
- Self-starter with the confidence to assess, identify, create and deploy resolutions in time-critical scenarios
- Growth mindset with a desire to learn, experiment, share knowledge and drive adoption of new technologies and approaches
