Summary: The Senior ServiceNow Engineer will be responsible for the technical management and development of ServiceNow's GRC modules, including IRM, BCM, and TPRM, within an international banking client's Service Management Department. This role requires collaboration with senior engineers to enhance risk and compliance capabilities while ensuring adherence to industry best practices. The position demands a strong background in ServiceNow implementation and support, particularly in regulated environments. The engineer will also mentor junior team members and maintain technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical management and development of the ServiceNow suite, with a primary focus on GRC, IRM, BCM, and TPRM modules.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions, optimising automation and integration.
  • Triage, estimate, and deliver enhancements and requests in line with out-of-the-box best practices, maintaining a high Health Scan score.
  • Provide technical governance, guidance, and approval for platform changes and enhancements.
  • Oversee platform upgrades, testing, and the adoption of new ServiceNow features.
  • Collaborate with process owners to ensure seamless transition and automation of business processes.
  • Identify and deliver measurable improvements, cost savings, and efficiencies through platform enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and IT security requirements across international offices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, policies, and training materials.
  • Mentor junior and offshore team members, overseeing their development and administrative tasks.
  • Build strong relationships with global stakeholders to share best practices and support local policies.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years' technical experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow, with deep expertise in IRM, BCM, and TPRM modules.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Proven ability to deliver solutions in regulated environments (finance, insurance, critical infrastructure).
  • Experience in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving complex IT issues.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • ServiceNow certifications (eg, Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified Application Developer) highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
