Summary: The Senior ServiceNow Developer role involves designing and developing Service Portal pages, widgets, and components for a global financial services client on a 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Service Portal pages, widgets, and components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Customize and extend the functionality of Service Portal by leveraging ServiceNow APIs and integration capabilities.
- Develop custom, advanced portal widgets as a ServiceNow Service Portal Developer.
- Implement client scripts, UI policies, business rules, and workflows in ServiceNow.
- Apply expertise in AngularJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks and responsive design principles.
- Engage in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
- Utilize agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security in development processes.
- Maintain knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and the ServiceNow ITSM module.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts.
- Expertise in web development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience in ServiceNow development, including Service Portal and custom widgets.
- Hands-on experience with AngularJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and ITSM processes.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
