Summary: The Senior Service Manager role at Red Snapper Recruitment involves overseeing operational management and staff line management for a large organization supporting victims of domestic violence in Stockport. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational management and staff line management to the management team, including setting targets and addressing performance issues.
  • Ensure effective delivery of the organizational strategy through the development and management of the operational plan.
  • Lead strategic engagement with commissioners, local authority stakeholders, and other service providers.
  • Oversee a comprehensive monitoring program for contracted work, including preparation of quarterly and annual reports.
  • Ensure client and staff support meets high-quality standards and promote service user participation.
  • Participate in statutory processes and implement continuous improvement programs.
  • Ensure safety and accessibility of buildings and facilities.
  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies and manage social media strategies for visibility.
  • Manage recruitment, induction, and training processes for staff onboarding and development.
  • Prepare regular reports for various functions, including contract reporting and quality assurance to the Board of Trustees.

Key Skills:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Safe Lives Service Manager qualification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of business planning and service delivery at a senior level.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality services at an operational level.
  • Experience in leadership and organizational transformation in complex organizations.
  • Experience in managing projects that demonstrate outcomes and comply with performance targets.
  • Knowledge and experience of safeguarding processes.
  • Proven education in employment practice and legislation.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to domestic abuse.
