Summary: The role of a Datacenter Security Solution Architect involves designing and delivering secure enterprise datacenters for large-scale security transformation programs. This position requires collaboration with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to establish security strategies and governance models that meet business and regulatory requirements. The architect will lead security architecture reviews and develop frameworks such as Zero Trust while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Strong experience with CIS Controls v8.1 is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design secure Datacenter security architectures.
  • Define end-to-end security solutions covering network, compute, storage, virtualization and application layers.
  • Lead security architecture reviews, risk assessments and threat modelling activities.
  • Develop Zero Trust security frameworks and micro-segmentation strategies.
  • Collaborate with SOC, infrastructure and application teams to implement enterprise security controls.
  • Provide architectural guidance for IAM, PAM, SIEM, EDR, DLP, DR, DATA recovery and encryption solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and CIS benchmarks.
  • Support security transformation and migration programs across on-premises.
  • Create high-level and low-level security design documentation.
  • Engage with stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
