Summary: We are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant with extensive hands-on experience in SAP ECC6 to support ongoing operations and project initiatives. The role involves collaborating with finance stakeholders in a bilingual environment (French & English) to deliver comprehensive FICO solutions. The consultant will be responsible for leading implementation cycles and ensuring effective configurations while addressing complex financial issues. A future migration to S/4HANA is anticipated, but deep ECC6 expertise is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior-level functional expertise across SAP FICO within ECC6 environments
  • Lead and support implementation and rollout cycles, including: Requirement gathering, FIT-GAP analysis, Solution design, Configuration, Testing and defect resolution, Cutover support and hypercare
  • Work directly with finance business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective ECC6 FICO configurations
  • Conduct and facilitate workshops, requirement clarification sessions, and end-user training
  • Prepare functional specifications and collaborate closely with ABAP and technical teams on reports, enhancements, interfaces, and integrations
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues related to: Reconciliations, Month-end and year-end closing, Cross-module financial discrepancies
  • Ensure strong alignment between functional and technical teams, including business analysts and architects

Key Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience as a SAP FICO Functional Consultant in ECC6
  • Strong functional knowledge across: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Controlling (CO), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), COPA
  • Solid understanding of FICO integration with SD and MM
  • Proven experience in multiple SAP implementations and rollouts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage complex financial and cross-module challenges independently
  • Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)

The current landscape is ECC6 , and while a future migration to S/4HANA is under consideration, deep ECC6 functional experience is mandatory.
