Senior SAP Consultant

Summary: We are seeking a seasoned SAP IS-Oil Techno-Functional Consultant to support the design and implementation of complex pricing and logistics solutions for a SAP S4 HANA program. The role involves leading the design and optimization of SAP IS-Oil and CPE solutions, configuring pricing processes, and delivering integrated Order-to-Cash solutions. The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders to translate pricing requirements into system-driven logic and manage various project phases to ensure smooth transitions. Strong expertise in SAP SD and CPE is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design and optimization of SAP IS-Oil and CPE solutions within an S/4HANA landscape.
• Configure and enhance formula-based pricing, average pricing, and transportation processes.
• Deliver integrated Order-to-Cash solutions across pricing, contracts, logistics, trading, and settlement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex commercial pricing requirements into scalable, system-driven logic.
• Drive blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, functional specification development, and oversee development activities.
• Manage SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live optimization to ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption.
• Ensure compliance with global commodity pricing, tax, and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot complex pricing issues, valuation discrepancies, and integration data flows to maintain system integrity.

Key Skills:

• Minimally 10 years of experience implementing SAP IS-Oil solutions with strong SD and CPE expertise.
• Deep knowledge of SAP SD and end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes including pricing, contracts, and billing.
• Expertise in Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE), advanced formula-based pricing, calculation logic, and valuation models.
• Strong understanding of integration with MM, FI, TRM/Treasury, TD, and external systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IS-Oil F&A pricing, formula builder, index-based pricing, rolling averages, and premiums/discounts; skilled in designing and optimizing complex pricing models.
• Experience in SAP projects, ideally including S/4HANA migrations.
• Proven ability to resolve complex pricing scenarios and debug calculation issues under tight timelines.
