Summary: The role of Offshore 66kV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) involves ensuring safety in offshore wind projects by performing high voltage safety duties, including isolations and issuing safety documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform SAP duties, ensuring safe systems of work under HV safety rules.
- Produce and review switching schedules, isolations, and safety documentation.
- Support testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.
- Conduct and review risk assessments, audits, and incident reporting.
- Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture.
- Provide supervision where required and assist the Lead SAP.
Key Skills:
- Current Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation to 66kV or above.
- Previous offshore windfarm experience at 66kV level.
- Full GWO certificates: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
- Offshore Medical (including Chester Step) & Offshore HUET.
- Knowledge of WTG WTSR and Electrical Safety Rules.
- ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
