Summary: The role of Senior Salesforce Service Cloud Architect involves leading the design and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions within a complex transformation programme. The position requires strong architectural expertise and stakeholder engagement, with a commitment to working onsite 2–3 days per week in Birmingham or Northampton. The architect will be responsible for producing detailed solution designs and providing technical leadership across various Salesforce functionalities. This role is critical for ensuring seamless integration with enterprise platforms and aligning solutions with architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deliver end-to-end Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, including Omni-Channel, Case Management, Knowledge, CTI, automation, and integrations
- Produce detailed solution designs, technical specifications, and data models
- Provide technical leadership and best practice guidance across configuration and custom development (Apex, LWC)
- Lead and facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Ensure seamless integration with enterprise platforms (ERP, CMS, e-commerce) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware
- Align solutions with enterprise architecture standards and governance
- Support continuous improvement and mentor members of the technical team
Key Skills:
- Proven experience architecting and delivering Salesforce Service Cloud solutions in enterprise environments
- Strong integration experience with other systems and platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solid understanding of Salesforce development and configuration (Apex, LWC, Flows)
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) is desirable
- Relevant Salesforce certifications are highly advantageous
- Able and willing to be onsite in Birmingham or Northampton 2–3 days per week
