Summary: The Senior Sales & Account Manager for Media Rights will oversee licensing for archive material and manage relationships with external stakeholders in the media rights sector. This role requires extensive experience in content distribution, particularly in broadcasting and digital platforms. The position is a fixed-term contract for 9 months, starting in mid-May, and involves collaboration across various internal departments to ensure effective management of media rights. The ideal candidate will also lead a junior account executive, fostering their professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the licensing of all archive material, archive programming, on-site content capture, and ancillary requests from external stakeholders.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding media rights, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
- Create, manage, and update media rights documents in collaboration with the Legal Department.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure seamless coordination on tasks and requests.
- Manage and develop a Sales & Accounts Junior Account Executive through leadership and mentoring.
