Summary: The Senior Risk Manager will oversee Technology Infrastructure Risk Management activities for a leading financial services organization across various regions, including the UK and Europe. This role involves providing technical risk oversight, governance, and operational risk management while acting as an advisor to technology teams. The successful candidate will support integration programs and global TI Risk Management initiatives within a complex financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key contact for regional Technology Infrastructure risk matters
- Manage and track infrastructure risk findings, remediation plans, and risk reporting activities
- Provide risk advisory across infrastructure domains including access management, vulnerability management, change management, cloud, networks, and operational resilience
- Support internal, external, and regulatory audits, including remediation tracking and issue closure
- Deliver risk reporting, governance updates, and executive-level commentary
- Partner with global technology, security, compliance, and operational risk teams
- Support operational risk event management and major incident reviews
- Contribute to continuous improvement of TI risk controls, processes, and reporting automation
Key Skills:
- Significant experience in IT Infrastructure Risk Management, Information Security, or Technology Risk
- Strong technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments and IT controls
- Experience managing risk, audit, compliance, and remediation activities within complex organisations
- Experience working within regulated financial services environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership
- Knowledge of operational risk frameworks, governance, and control management
- Experience with Archer or similar risk management platforms preferred
- Experience supporting large-scale technology transformation or integration programmes advantageous

We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join a leading financial services organisation to support Technology Infrastructure (TI) Risk Management activities across the UK, Channel Islands, Europe, and global operations.
This role will provide technical infrastructure risk oversight, governance, operational risk management, and audit support within a complex global financial services environment. The successful candidate will act as a key advisor to technology teams and stakeholders while supporting the ongoing integration programme and broader global TI Risk Management initiatives.
