Summary: The Senior Risk Data Analyst role focuses on consolidating, analyzing, and presenting complex risk data sets to enhance visibility and documentation quality during a post-acquisition integration phase. The position requires strong IT Risk experience and involves building dashboards, automating solutions, and collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate risk management. This role is pivotal in supporting the migration of processes into standard tooling and frameworks. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment that values innovation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and normalise data sourced from multiple systems, teams, and processes related to open issues, risk findings, vulnerabilities, application control processes, risk acceptances, and remediation documentation.
  • Clear backlog of documentation, including items with tight SLA windows (7-45 days).
  • Build accurate dashboards and reporting outputs using Tableau to show risk demand over time, status of open/overdue items, controls coverage & gap analysis, and related exposure and progress toward remediation.
  • Assist in defining what a consolidated, end state view of risk artefacts and reporting should look like.
  • Develop automated solutions where possible using macros, workflows, and templates.
  • Integrate and reconcile inputs from disparate systems and data owners.
  • Work closely with IT Risk, application teams, and control owners to validate risk acceptance documentation, track remediation items, and ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely updates.
  • Support migration of processes into standard tooling and IT risk frameworks.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in IT Risk or closely related technology control functions.
  • Proven ability to analyse, interpret, and structure large, complex data sets.
  • Proficiency with Tableau and Excel (advanced, including macros) and data sourcing/integration across multiple teams.
  • Strong conceptual thinker with excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
  • Experience using GenAI for data handling, summarisation, documentation, or automation.
