Summary: The Senior Risk Business Partner role focuses on supporting the Pensions & Investment Management unit within a Pension Fund in the City of London. This position involves embedding the Enterprise Risk Framework and fostering a strong risk culture while managing various enterprise risks. The role is a 10-month fixed-term contract with a competitive salary and bonus structure. The candidate will work 2 to 3 days a week in the office, collaborating with business leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to identify, assess and manage enterprise risks (strategic, operational, regulatory, legal and conduct)
- Provide oversight, support and constructive challenge to first-line risk management
- Monitor and report risk profiles, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and regulatory requirements
- Enhance risk governance, reporting and systems (including MySupport and SharePoint)
- Deliver training and guidance to stakeholders across all levels
- Support continuous improvement of risk frameworks, processes and culture
Key Skills:
- Strong enterprise risk experience (non-investment risk focus), gained from a Pension Fund or Investment Management firm
- Ability to influence, challenge and build trusted relationships across senior stakeholders
- Experience with risk frameworks, governance and reporting tools
- Clear communicator with a collaborative, pragmatic approach

Audit & Risk Recruitment are partnering with a Pension Fund in the City of London to find a Senior Risk Business Partner. You will support the Pensions & Investment Management (PIM) unit covering public & private markets, real assets, fiduciary management, investment operations and responsible investment. You’ll play a key role in embedding the Enterprise Risk Framework and driving a strong risk culture aligned to the Three Lines of Defence model.
Key responsibilities:
