- Act as the primary liaison between Internal Audit and Risk teams (Middle Office)

- Support audit reviews with a deep understanding of market, credit, and operational risk
- Help evolve audit methodology to better reflect quantitative risks and control frameworks
- Deliver insight and assurance on model governance, risk architecture, and controls
- Collaborate across global teams including trading, risk, and compliance
Key Skills:
- Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (mathematics, physics, engineering, data science)
- Experience working in the risk department of a trading house or commodities-focused business
- Familiarity with energy or metals markets (physical or derivatives exposure preferred)
- Able to critically evaluate risk models and assumptions used in pricing, valuation, or limit setting
- Background in internal audit, model validation, or quantitative risk is highly advantageous
- While candidates from banking may be considered, the preference is for those with a commodities or trading background
- Open to those with direct experience in a similar role or those seeking a move out of a high-intensity environment such as the front office or risk management teams
