Summary: The Senior Revit Technician at BakerHicks will provide expert solutions in electrical building services, collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovative design solutions. This role involves producing detailed electrical service drawings, conducting clash detections, and ensuring quality standards are met. The technician will also engage with clients and internal teams to drive project success while maintaining effective communication. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and design team members to deliver safe and efficient solutions.
- Produce detailed electrical service drawings and schematics in Revit/CAD.
- Conduct clash detections of the Revit model and provide solutions.
- Ensure accuracy of deliverables and maintain thorough documentation.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and feedback with management for project delivery.
- Represent BakerHicks in external project technical meetings as required.
- Review subcontractors/suppliers BIM models and drawings for compliance.
Key Skills:
- Working knowledge of MEP services.
- Detailed experience with Revit (essential), Navisworks & AutoCAD (advantageous).
- Experience with COBie requirements.
- Familiarity with assurance processes and relevant statutory documentation.

Your organisational and communication skills will help you interact with internal and external contacts to deliver projects within time, quality and budget constraints. You’ll also work to play an integral role in driving quality standards and the development of the team.
What You Will Do
- Collaborating with clients, other disciplines, and members of the design team, you will work together to deliver safe, efficient and buildable solutions that promote and achieve excellent service, through Perfect Delivery.
- You will keep up to date with design trends and ensure quality of delivery when producing or updating drawings to internal and/or customer standards.
- Producing detailed electrical service drawings as well as schematics in Revit/CAD
- Carrying out clash detections of the Revit model and producing solutions to any clashes found
- Ensure thorough checking and accuracy of deliverables and record documentation
- Participate in knowledge sharing across team and locations
- Feedback with the management team to ensure achievable delivery dates and resources
- Represent BakerHicks in external project technical meetings if required
- Review specialist subcontractors/suppliers production BIM models and drawings for compliance with design intent
About You
- Working knowledge of MEP services.
- Detailed experience working on Revit (essential), Navisworks & AutoCAD (advantageous)
- Experience with COBie requirements
- Experience of projects within one or all Baker Hicks business sectors (typically industrial process, Manufacturing, Power Generation, Aviation, Education, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical)
- Familiar with assurance processes, codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation
- Have experience in coordinating models across a multi-disciplinary design team
- Want to take ownership, be innovative, use initiative and be driven by client satisfaction
