Summary: The Senior Retail Data Analyst role at Cheil UK involves analyzing retail data from Samsung's offline stores to identify sales issues and improve reporting processes. The position requires close collaboration with retail teams and senior management to ensure alignment with business objectives. The analyst will prepare strategic reports and monitor key retail metrics to drive performance improvements. This is a secondment contract based at Samsung's EU HQ in Chertsey for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse retail data from offline stores on product sales by Samsung Europe subsidiaries.
- Monitor and audit data quality to support reporting processes.
- Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics tools.
- Coordinate retail initiatives with subsidiaries' retail teams for strong execution.
- Align with senior management to ensure project delivery meets business objectives.
- Develop strategic reports for senior management to promote team strategy.
- Monitor product mix and report on key retail metrics such as footfall and sales per sq ft.
- Monitor mystery shopping results and insights across D2C.
- Track Opex and indirect costs against key metrics.
